Job Description General Responsibilities: Provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This includes performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, recommendations, designing and developing plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and preparing related reports. Review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress and budgets, and recommend changes. Research and resolve design and construction problems. Analyze laboratory or field data for reports. Apply sound engineering principles and communicate complex issues to clients and project teams. Services may be provided for projects in sectors such as public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: Follow safety rules, participate in pre-task planning, and report safety issues. Implement quality leadership practices daily. Maintain consistent quality standards in proposal and project delivery. Manage and execute small to medium projects, including more complex ones. Develop scope of work for routine projects. Prepare cost estimates, specifications, and related documents. Analyze data and perform engineering calculations. Coordinate and supervise field investigations, laboratory testing, and data evaluation. Develop plans, schedules, and coordinate project work phases. Work closely with senior project managers for experience growth. Make design recommendations and modifications. Prepare work scope, proposals, reports, and plan investigations for approval. Serve as a technical adviser to junior team members. Supervise field staff, including engineers and technicians. Communicate with clients and project teams about project scope and progress. Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer and authorized reviewer. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. 3-5 years of experience minimum. Master's degree preferred. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineering Intern (EI) required; ability to obtain PE registration. Preferred Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
