This role builds institutional trust and unlocks market access by positioning SGS as a credible sustainability and innovation leader in public policy, ESG, and industry dialogue. It plays a crucial role in supporting M&A readiness, navigating expansion in sensitive markets, and accelerating strategic partnerships with key stakeholders. This role is critical in enabling the execution of the company’s business strategy by ensuring SGS is positioned as a thought leader and credible partner in discussions that impact the TIC industry.Key Responsibilities:Design and execute SGS LATAM’s public affairs and stakeholder influence strategy aligned with regional growth and regulatory roadmaps.Build coalitions and alliances with government bodies, regulators, ESG influencers, and industry associations to strengthen SGS’s position.Provide strategic insight into political, social, and regulatory developments affecting market entry, operations, or M&A feasibility.Lead reputation risk management and proactively coordinate issue/crisis communication with Global and LATAM Executive Committees.Support executive visibility through high-impact events, public representation, speeches, and media strategy across top LATAM markets.Monitor policy developments and ESG-related legislation and translate them into risk mitigation strategies or growth opportunities.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):% of strategic business priorities supported by stakeholder alliancesNumber of risks mitigated related to political/regulatory constraintsStakeholder trust index improvement across LATAM countriesSpeed of issue escalation and resolutionImpact generated by executive thought leadership and public presenceRequisitosBachelor’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Communications, or related field.8+ years in corporate affairs, regulatory engagement, or public policy.Deep understanding of LATAM political and regulatory dynamics.Track record of enabling market access and risk mitigation through stakeholder engagement.High-level communication and influence skills; experience representing at executive forums. #J-18808-Ljbffr
