WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE? We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead our quality management efforts. The key responsibilities include: 1. Managing the maintenance of the quality management system, ensuring procedures and instructions are correctly executed to meet quality standards. 2. Creating and monitoring Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for projects at HES, communicating with customers regarding ITP follow-up, and assessing supplier documents. 3. Handling external and internal non-conformities, analyzing quality issues, and implementing corrective actions. 4. Representing the company in quality-related meetings and negotiations with clients, providing solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. 5. Accepting new suppliers proposed by purchasing, and monitoring existing supplier performance. 6. Performing quality controls on processes and products to ensure compliance with specifications. 7. Managing the enamelling process, evaluating customer specifications, and conducting laboratory tests. 8. Deciding on manufacturing stoppages when procedures are breached or product quality is at risk, and communicating these decisions. 9. Collaborating in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen processes and PDM monitoring. 10. Working with commercial and engineering teams on customer specifications and manufacturing feasibility analysis. WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING? Essential Skills and Knowledge: - Technical engineering background (Industrial specialty). - Proficiency in English. - Computer skills (Office, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Postgraduate training in ISO 9001-2015 and management systems, preferably with a master's in quality management. Desirable Skills and Experience: - Advanced engineering knowledge. - 1-3 years of professional experience in quality management. - Knowledge of environmental management and occupational health and safety. - Analytical skills, decision-making ability, teamwork orientation, attention to detail, and adherence to rules and procedures. - Ability to work under pressure, interpret design drawings, and make autonomous technical decisions.
