**Key Responsibilities**: - IT Support functions as a center for reporting technology-related problems, performing initial problem investigation and information gathering, and works as a liaison to the rest of the IT support staff. - Provides break-fix end-user support, working with product manufacturers as needed (such as Lenovo, Dell or Apple). - This first-level IT Support role is expected to pass on to Senior IT Support Technicians any issues which cannot resolve in a timely manner. - Assists with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of personal computer software and hardware (including printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripheral devices) - Maintains an accurate service repair history through the creation of TopDesk incident management system tickets, including the documenting of work history and proper issue resolution. - Determines the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers. - Documents, tracks, and monitors incidents using applicable systems and tools. - Monitors system capacity and performance and reports any problems discovered. - The incumbent has contact with all the departments of the company in resolving computer-related problems.
