NCHC is recruiting for a GS Portfolio/PMO Manager in their Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CII) organization. Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CII) is the Global Finance team that designs and implements next generation processes and technology to create enterprise value. They collaborate cross-functionally and seek to create a more agile, end-to-end, Global Finance Organization. The GS Portfolio/PMO, Manager scope could include transformation, technology, or A&D; program leadership during a variety of initiative phases. The role may also lead and provide oversight to project managers/specialists (internal or external) both in GS and across other functions. **Responsibilities**: Program leadership - Ensures successful end to end program delivery, implementation, execution, and delivery of programs outcomes through go-live and stabilization leveraging PMO best practices - Manage critical path integration across program workstreams (i.e., business process, organizational design, deployment, training, user experience, change management/communications and technology) - Perform overall program risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and recommend mitigations, as needed. - Look for process improvement opportunities including project team engagement, project delivery, reporting and communications. - Provide coaching, support and leadership to internal and external Project management resources, coach and lead teams to execute activities such as assessments, building value cases, preparing process documentation, managing knowledge transfer, supporting cut-over activities, developing project/ program-related communications and providing other project management support and leadership. **Qualifications** Position Requirements**: - A minimum of a bachelor’s degree - Program / Project management experience - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; formal presentation and facilitation skills - Strong presentation skills: can speak across various forums and communicate to broad, diverse audience - Minimum of 5+ years of related business experience, in a shared services organization, preferably in Finance, Procurement, HR, and/or IT functions - Min 2 years of experience supporting global projects across matrixed teams in either project mgmt. or business capacity - Demonstrated ability to work across functional and geographic boundaries - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects, and daily planned and unplanned activities, while managing complexity and ambiguity **Preferred Requirements/Competencies**: - Active project or program management certification - Experience using PPM and PMO tools and methodologies - Demonstrated success in large scale Program/Project management.
