The Company also operates a 753,000-square-foot facility in Belgium that serves Europe and ships directly to the rest of the planet. **Job Description**: Position Summary: The DC Manager in Skechers Colombia is responsible for day to day overseeing of the 3rd party distribution operation at the DC with the ultimate goal of ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders to customers. This person will be working with the 3rd party at the DC to ensure that the following is performed in accordance with company objectives: - Orders are processed and completed in a timely manner. - Completed orders are shipped in the most expedient and cost-effective manner possible. - A high standard of inventory integrity is maintained. - All work is performed in the most cost-effective manner possible. - Supplies/equipment vendors are evaluated and chosen for best value, and are maintained to ensure efficiency of the operation. - Security of merchandise and company assets is safeguarded. The person in this position will be required to quickly learn all aspects of the operation, delegate the daily workload, ensure effectiveness of 3rd party performance, train employees, monitor all aspects of the operation, communicate with and support the goals of sales and allocations departments, and maintain distribution management in the US well-informed of all pertinent details.
