As part of the DHL Group, you will work with a global network of procurement colleagues and benefit from a wide range of development opportunities. Job Purpose: The Procurement Associate supports the management of national and international acquisitions and purchases, ensuring adherence to quality standards. Responsibilities include sourcing suppliers, establishing global relationships, conducting market research to identify new suppliers or evaluate existing ones, and assisting in contract preparation and review. The role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure organizational needs and objectives are met. Your tasks: Search for and select reliable national or international suppliers that meet quality requirements. Manage the completion of documents requested by DHL for supplier participation in bidding processes. Follow up with suppliers, coordinate visits, ensure contractual compliance, and address issues during bidding. Assist in preparing and reviewing contracts to formalize relationships and manage commercial agreements. Identify key contractual terms such as payment conditions, delivery timelines, and obligations. Ensure both parties uphold fair terms and review contracts for accuracy, including parties' information, dates, amounts, and other key details. Coordinate signing processes, verify document accuracy, and ensure all modifications are reflected. Ensure all parties have access and are trained to use relevant platforms. Update catalogs, modify rates, and remove outdated services or products. Verify information and download documents via GoSource; submit ticket requests via GoShield. Gather user needs, search for suitable suppliers, and prepare comparison proposals in Excel. Maintain accurate, updated documentation compliant with supplier regulations. Coordinate with departments for updates, obtain approvals, and follow up on document signing. Collect annual documentation for certification audits (e.g., BACS, ISO, TAPA), including financial statements and certifications. Conduct site visits to suppliers with relevant departments. Your profile: 1-2 years of experience as a purchasing assistant or relevant role. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.
