Job Overview The Staff Accountant position involves various senior and mid-level accounting tasks on a daily and monthly basis. Key Responsibilities - Maintain the general ledger by recording transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness. - Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. - Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts. - Update accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS. Required Skills and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. - Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or finance. - Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS and other accounting principles and standards. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
