The **EDSE** **Payroll Associate (Colombia) will be responsible for supporting the transition of Colombia's payroll from the current system to our internal payroll and human resources system and assuming responsibility for the regular cycles of payroll, benefits administration, time management and related services for 100 + employees in Colombia.** On going Responsibilities: - Process inputs/data/results for regular pay cycles in an outsourced environment for Colombia Payroll. - Ensures payroll data controls accuracy - Attend employee inquiries related to Payroll, Time & attendance and Benefits. - Produce and distribute reporting internally and externally as required. - Support Year end processes including issuance of statutory statements. - Process and control of Social Security remittances, submissions to authorities in Colombia as needed. - Collaborate with Accounting team in General Ledger, balancing and reporting and overall completion of accounting work. - Support other EDSE operations in Payroll matters. - Attend legal and regulatory requirements such as Tax, Social Security, Parafiscales, Annual Payroll Tax obligations, internal and external audits, and implement legal and policy changes into systems and processes. - Execute testing of system changes, including Payroll/Time, Benefit Admin, Case management, Employee Verification Letters, Visa and Expat management and on-going controls. - Execute appropriate operational, system and financial controls in place, maintain an appropriate control environment through time to manage risk, and act as key contact for auditors. - Remain current in external payroll and time practices, and legal requirements. **Skills**: - Experienced in the execution of Payroll Process. - Strong automation skills - Flexible and resilient to constant changes environment. - Strong analytical, trouble shooting and problem solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and follow-through. - Self-motivated, independent and self-managed. - Highly organized, able to manage competing priorities in a fast paced-environment. - Outstanding work ethic with a high degree of confidentiality. - Strong communication, interpersonal relationship and team worker. - Able to work effectively in a multicultural and international environment - Experience in process improvement, especially in ensuring quality, control and compliance. **Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field - 3+ years of progressive payroll/payroll accounting/benefits, experience with medium sized organization - Fully Bilingual English-Spanish J.P.
