Job Description This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in a growing law practice where your bilingual skills and administrative expertise will directly impact the firm’s success. As our Legal Secretary/Administrator, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for clients while managing crucial administrative functions that keep our practice running smoothly. This position offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to take on additional responsibilities based on performance and interest. You’ll work remotely while maintaining close collaboration with the principal attorney, handling everything from client communications to office management tasks. Responsibilities - Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications in both English and Spanish - Manage incoming calls and email correspondence professionally and efficiently - Conduct initial client interviews and screening processes - Draft professional representation letters and correspondence - Maintain and organize the attorney’s calendar, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups - Process client invoicing and manage accounts receivable (for qualified candidates) - Perform client qualification assessments to identify viable cases - Handle time-sensitive administrative tasks and documentation - Coordinate with clients regarding payment arrangements and follow-up - Manage and organize digital files using legal practice management software Requirements Essential Qualifications: - Fluent bilingual skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal) - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Self-motivated with proven ability to work independently - Professional demeanor and customer service orientation - Competency with standard office software and technology Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Clio or similar legal practice management software - Background in legal administrative support or related field - Basic accounting or bookkeeping knowledge - Experience in remote work environments - Understanding of legal terminology and procedures Additional Requirements: - Reliable internet connection and quiet home office setup - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality - Commitment to professional development and learning - Strong time management and prioritization skills Independent Contractor Perks - HMO Coverage for eligible locations - Permanent work from home - Immediate hiring - Steady freelance job ZR_23106_JOB
