Diamond Foundry is looking for a talented and capable Facilities Project Engineer to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing and executing a variety of projects that involve overseeing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initial concept and planning through to commissioning and close-out, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise in building systems, and excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Responsibilities Manages all aspects of Fab facilities projects, from defining scope and developing budgets and schedules to managing contractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project plans and local Spanish regulatory compliance. Collaborates in defining requirements, develops proposals and designs, coordinates with consultants, and oversees construction and installation activities, ensuring quality, compliance with specifications, and on-site safety. Develops and manages budgets, identifies cost savings, and effectively communicates project status, risks, and issues to internal stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with external parties. Maintains up-to-date project documentation (drawings, permits, etc.), prepares regular status reports, and ensures proper project close-out, including final inspections and warranty documentation. Incorporates sustainable design principles and efficient technologies, seeks to improve the operational efficiency of existing facilities, and ensures all projects are executed in compliance with Fab safety policies, EU directives, and local EHS regulations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial) or a related field combined with 5+ years of experience in managing facilities-related projects, including design, construction, upgrading and expansions within high-tech manufacturing facilities. Strong understanding of semiconductor Fab utility systems, including DI water, process gases, HVAC, chemical distribution, wastewater, and power systems. Experience with construction, expansions, and modifications. Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental compliance. Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software (Primavera, Microsoft Project).
