Your Challenge as Test Coordinator At Blyce , we create software solutions that support governments in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) such as Curaçao, Bonaire, Aruba, Anguilla, Grenada, and St. Kitts & Nevis. As Test Coordinator , you play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our extensive and complex applications—systems that are essential to our clients’ digital progress. Your work involves conducting detailed manual testing with a sharp eye for quality and a deep commitment to reliability. In this role, leadership is key. You guide and mentor a team of 1 to 3 testers, empowering them to deliver their best work. You coordinate tasks such as risk analysis, test planning, and reporting, all while maintaining a clear overview of quality across the project. With strong communication skills in both Dutch and English, you provide well-reasoned advice to project managers and articulate your insights with confidence. It’s a dynamic and hands-on role where precision, leadership, and ownership come together. Your focus: delivering high-quality software, and helping your team grow alongside it. Your Team You are part of a multidisciplinary product team working together to ensure a successful outcome. At the same time, you belong to our international Test Team—18 professionals based across the Netherlands, Curaçao, Suriname, Colombia, Poland, and Canada. Within this close-knit group, knowledge-sharing and collaboration are central to continuously raising our testing standards. What You Bring HBO-level education or equivalent working/thinking level; At least 5 years of experience as a tester, including 2+ years in a coordinating role ; ISTQB or TMAP certification (a Test Manager certificate is a plus); Professional proficiency in English and preferably Dutch ; A mindset focused on quality and continuous improvement; Results-oriented, with the ability to lead by example; An eye for detail and a structured way of working; A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for both your own work and the broader team’s; Clear and confident communication, with the ability to present and defend your ideas effectively.
