You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensure data accuracy, and transform complex information into actionable insights. While this role is primarily focused on data analysis, basic software development skills are a plus. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate data into business value. What you'll do: Gather and analyze business requirements to deliver meaningful insights and reporting solutions. Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services. Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all reporting outputs. Automate recurring reporting processes to improve operational efficiency. Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to support strategic decision-making. Document processes, queries, and reporting logic for future reference and training. Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization. Troubleshoot data discrepancies and reporting issues, providing timely resolutions. Provide technical support and training to internal users on data-related tools. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned. Requirements: 4+ years of experience in a data analyst or reporting-focused role within a corporate environment. Strong command of SQL for data manipulation and reporting. Proven experience working with Power BI and/or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Ability to interpret and visualize data to tell a compelling story. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote, cross-functional environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information in a clear, non-technical manner. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and data integration processes is a plus. General understanding of bookkeeping terminology is a nice to have. Basic experience in software development is considered a plus.
