Responsibilities Job Purpose: We are seeking a talented QA Engineer with expertise in Playwright or similar tools to join our software development team. You will design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure our software's quality and reliability. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver high-quality automation solutions. Primary Duties include: Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Playwright for web applications, APIs, and other components. Collaborate with QA, developers, and product managers to create comprehensive test strategies covering functional, regression, and performance testing. Design and implement effective, reusable automated test frameworks and methodologies. Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and stability across browsers, devices, and platforms. Identify, report, and track software defects with detailed descriptions and reproduction steps. Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for rapid feedback on code changes. Work with QA teams to incorporate performance testing into the overall strategy. Qualifications To qualify, you will need: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance. Proven expertise in creating and maintaining automated tests using Playwright or similar tools for web applications and APIs. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, TypeScript) and experience with test automation frameworks. Experience with testing tools like Visual Studio, Rest API, Postman, Fiddler. Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, best practices, and test design techniques. Preferred Skills: Proficiency with BDD tools such as Cucumber/Gherkin and Rest Assured. Knowledge of relational databases, queries, and development tools. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI. Familiarity with version control systems like Git. Experience with performance automation tools such as JMeter or Blaze Meter.
