Corporate Sales Development Opportunity The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling group opportunities in a defined geographic region. This involves generating hotel awareness through direct phone sales, tradeshows, and networking groups. Collaboration with sales and marketing teams is crucial to solicit, sell, and confirm group business required to meet set revenue targets. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and target key customers that can generate business on behalf of the hotel without conflicting with other efforts. - Negotiate, draft, generate, and confirm group contracts ensuring hotel revenue targets are met. - Adjust group pricing and recommend concessions as needed to secure group business. - Utilize various prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of the hotel. - Follow up on all business inquiries and leads, qualifying business to generate room nights and associated food and beverage revenue impacting RevPar performance. - Develop and execute account plans for assigned market territory to ensure maximum revenue and budgeted group targets are achieved. - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and direct sales goals including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, and entertainment as outlined. Requirements: - College Degree or equivalent experience. - Luxury hotel sales experience (minimum 3 years) or 3-5 years operational hotel experience. - Proven sales track record a plus. - Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English and Spanish. - Good personal and professional references. - Working computer skills and knowledge including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, and Opera.
