About the role Position Description: The CDL Driver II will perform duties associated with transporting hazardous and non-hazardous waste between Reworld facilities and the client’s sites. Drivers will have the opportunity to operate a variety of equipment including vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, and flat beds. Responsibilities: Safely operate equipment following DOT regulations and company policies and regulations. Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste to a designated location safely while meeting scheduled appointments and following all DOT regulations. Ensure placarding of the vehicle meets DOT regulations. Maintain paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets. Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. Secure cargo prior to and during transit. Complete additional assigned duties. Requirements: High School Diploma / GED preferred. Must be 21 years or older due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations. Minimum (2) years of commercial driving experience. CDL Class A with Tanker endorsements. HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required. Clean driving record. Ability to use a tablet for E-Logs. Abide by standard DOT regulations at all times. The pay for this job is by the load, and drivers should average throughout the year upwards of 80-90k. This position's expected hourly pay rate is $25.00 - $29.00. This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary will consider various factors, including experience, ability, and location.
