Alexion is evaluating other potential indications for Soliris and is pursuing development of the other innovative biotech products. **Position Summary** Accountable for the development and implementation of the strategic marketing plan for the franchise and responsible of leading the promotional team, as first line manager for Colombia. **Job Responsibilities (to include key result areas, specific accountabilities, tasks, etc.** - Responsible of leading the promotional strategy to ensure BUDGET accomplishment, protecting the COP and delivering expected growth for the franchise - Responsible for Development and implementation of the strategic brand plan for the franchise aligned to our international and global guidelines - Accountable for the brand investment plan (advertising and promotional budget) - Responsible for sales execution on filed, giving coach to sales representatives to improve sales techniques, and delivering science to persuade physicians. Aligned to the leadership selling approach. - Development of the communication strategy for the different Stakeholders - Develop and maintain close relationships with KOL and Scientific Societies - Ensure the correct planning of the demand and the forecast - Leadership of cross functional team (Marketing, Medical, Access, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, IT) - Drive P&L; sustainable profit - Monitor and control management indicators of the people in charge to generate strategies that guarantee the fulfilment of the defined goals - Monitor and control the medical panel of representatives to ensure effectiveness in making decisions related to them. - Lead territorial plans for HCPs and key accounts to ensure compliance with objectives - Manage the human talent in charge in terms of selection, retention, and retirement processes in order to contribute to the achievement of the goals of the area. - Coordinate compliance with the assigned collections budget to maintain a healthy portfolio and a good level of portfolio days - Responsible for reporting any non-compliance or potential non-compliance with company codes and policies - Responsible for taking the training required by the organization (Code of conduct, corporate policies, pharmacovigilance, among others). **Qualifications**: - A demonstrated track record of success and progression in sales and marketing positions. - Strong knowledge of business and financial planning with experience delivering consistent results. - Recent track record of successfully overseeing product launches in local market, ideally for rare or orphan disease(s); has successfully worked in a competitive environment. - Success in market shaping activities to establish the unmet need in a rare disease area. - An authentic commitment to working closely with external stakeholders. - Seasoned leader comfortable communicating and engaging across all levels in the organization, as well as maintaining calm composure, presenting, and influencing at senior levels - Good leadership and organizing skills; - Keen eye for detail; - Good communication and interpersonal skills; - Creative thinking **Education**: - Professional degree in business-oriented carrier desirable - Fluency in English
