About the Project: The primary aim of the project is to address mental health needs among Venezuelan adolescent girls and adult women survivors of GBV in Colombia. We propose to adapt, implement, evaluate, and support the uptake, translation, and dissemination of findings of a scalable mental health and psychosocial intervention (MHPSS) intervention, Group Problem-Management Plus (Group PM+), to reduce psychological distress among Venezuelan migrant adolescent and adult women survivors of GBV in Barranquilla, Colombia. Main Responsibilities: - Conduct a formative, qualitative phase to develop appropriate measurement and intervention approaches - Pilot/field test survey tools and collect qualitative and quantitative data - Answer questions from research participants, recording data and performing quality checks, and data entry Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in psychology, health sciences, or a related field - Students in their last semester doing internships are eligible for the position - At least 1 year of experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection - Excellent proficiency in English and Spanish (speaking and writing) - Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Word and Excel - Excellent social skills and ability to build rapport with people - Detail-oriented individuals able to work both independently and with a team - Experience working in complex humanitarian and public health emergencies - Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Additional Information: Please note that the process of recruitment consists of several steps: screening, phone interview with HR representative, interview with the contracting manager, panel interview with HIAS employees, verification of references, offer and background check, and finally starting your professional journey with us.
