Overview The Civil/Site Engineer will be a key member of the Civil/Site design team responsible for various aspects of land development projects, including site feasibility and conceptual planning, stormwater management, grading, drainage, utility design, erosion and sediment control, permitting, and more. The Engineer may also conduct permitting research, due diligence, and write specifications and reports. The Engineer will work within AutoCAD Civil 3D and alongside the design team managers and other disciplines to successfully complete projects within established budgets and deadlines. Responsibilities Preparing construction drawings, plans, and project specifications Conducting hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, grading plans, street improvements, utilities, and specifications Ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to standard engineering practices Identifying problems, evaluating alternatives, and recommending solutions Collaborating with peers, management, and other disciplines Assisting in stormwater calculations and reporting Plotting and assembling civil engineering plans and reports Providing engineering support to other departments Performing other related duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 0-2 years of related land development experience or relevant internships EIT and/or PE preferred Knowledge of local land use regulations Proficiency in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrological analysis, and grading Civil 3D skills for site design from concept to completion Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams Ability to read and understand English Hybrid work capability; valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, and Registration required What We Offer At Colliers Engineering & Design, we prioritize our employees' well-being and growth.
