Based in Bogota (underwriting offices in Bogota-Miami-Sao Paolo), you will strengthen our existing regional platform and coordinate closely with our local underwriting and actuarial teams, supported along the way by the claims/accounting/business services hub in Buenos Aires. The regional Office Manager is tasked with overseeing all operational aspects of the Colombian Branch, and supporting Latin America in general. What will your essential responsibilities include? - Oversees all operational aspects of the Colombian Branch, and supporting Latin America in general. - Finance and Accounting, Taxes : Manages local cashflow and bank accounts, financial reporting, regulatory supervision and consolidation of local financial statements. Files local tax forms. - Legal and Compliance: Meets local regulatory and compliance requirements, serving as local compliance officer upon the regulator for AML reporting, submitting license renewals and POAS to regulator, submitting regulatory reports and information on timely basis to avoid non-compliance at all levels, providing internal compliance reporting. - Facilities: Manages operations support staff (admin assistant, DSS and maintenance services) serving as Liaison with central IT and facilities departments (Local Office Liaison) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Coordinator. In charge of ensuring branch security and managing local tools and infrastructure (communications, workstations, PCS, printers, HVAC, building maintenance, furniture, inventory and office supplies). - Oversees local supplier and vendor relationships, imploding supervision of third party contract employees. - Plans and organizes local team and market events. **SHARE your talent** We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills: - Accountable and trustworthy team player with outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
