ABOUT YOUR ROLE The procurement lead isresponsible for leading procurement efforts to efficiently andeffectively enable spend owner such as business unit and functionalpartners maximize the value they receive from suppliers to meettheir objectives. Work with each business unit to lead centralizedsourcing and procurement efforts. Include working with the internalstakeholder from initial need identification to final goods orservice delivery to meet stakeholder needs. The process starts withdemand management that then drives supply analysis/strategy,supplier identification, sourcing execution, contract negotiation,delivery planning and monitoring, purchase execution, and thenongoing performance management and improvement. Deliver costsavings opportunities to the organization, and assist in developingcommodity strategy. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: 1. Creationand management of short, mid, and long terms goals and objectivesfor all categories. 2. Creation and improvement of best practicebased processes. 3. Management of procurement process relatedactivities. 4. Identification and realization of cost-saving andcost reduction opportunities. 5. Management of procurement systems.6. Management of procurement staff in and across sourcing,contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management, andmiscellaneous internal procurement support activities. 7. Analyzecategories spend. 8. Manage and monitor Supplier Performance, solveissues with suppliers if any. 9. Develop and maintain supplierpool. 10. Analyze and understand the cost drivers associated witheach category/supplier. 11. Benchmark current products acrosssuppliers and identifying consolidation opportunity. 12. Support onrelated projects if required. WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:1. 2-5 years’ experience in procurement. 2. Strong leadershipskills. 3. Team player at executive levels to collaborate withbusiness units and functional partners. 4. In-depth knowledge ofsourcing and procurement principles and best practices. 5. Strongnegotiation skills to use for large commercial deals. 6. Experiencewith modern sourcing and procurement systems. 7. Strategic mindsetand problem-solving skills. 8.
