They stand at the forefront of the beauty industry, blending cutting-edge science with a passion for empowerment. **Scope of the Role**: We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented **Regulatory and Quality Manage**r to ensure all products comply with stringent local, national, and international regulatory standards. This role requires a blend of regulatory expertise, quality control knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of product safety and efficacy. **Duties and Responsibilities**: - **Regulatory Compliance**:Ensure adherence to local and global regulations, including MOCRA and brand-specific blacklist requirements. Stay updated with regulatory changes in the beauty industry. Oversee vendor manual creation and onboarding of new contract manufacturers. - **Product Certification**: Manage and renew certifications (e.g., organic, cruelty-free, vegan). Ensure compliance with OTC testing, FDA regulations, and best practices. - **Quality Control**:Implement and manage QC protocols during product development and manufacturing. Ensure product quality for launches and ongoing reorders. - **Documentation**: Maintain regulatory and quality control records, including audits, clinical test results, COAs, PIFs, and compliance reports. - **Supplier and Manufacturer Liaison**:Ensure suppliers and manufacturers comply with regulatory and quality standards. Review bulk standards and finished goods for new and existing products. - Risk Management: Assess and mitigate regulatory and quality risks. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Partner with Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Legal teams to integrate compliance into strategies. Create compliant product copy and marketing claims. - Training and Education: Train internal teams on regulatory and quality standards to build a culture of compliance. **Requirements**: - Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a regulatory and quality control role in the beauty, cosmetics, or skincare industry. - Strong understanding of global cosmetic regulations (FDA, EU Cosmetic Regulation, ISO standards). - Proven experience managing product certifications and regulatory compliance. - Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with regulatory databases/software.
