Role Overview We are seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our remote team and translate visionary concepts into precise 3D models, detailed 2D documents, and compelling presentation materials. You will support the Miami studio by transforming design direction into executable drawings, diagrams, and renderings — all with exceptional attention to detail and quality. This is a full-time, remote role requiring some overlap with Eastern Standard Time to enable real-time collaboration. Key Responsibilities Develop and edit 3D context and build massing models using SketchUp/Layout Produce detailed 2D floor plans, elevations, and sections, accurately labeled and dimensioned Create architectural diagrams and organize digital project files efficiently Design presentation boards and documents using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator Render models directly from SketchUp and assist with occasional higher-quality visualizations Maintain rigorous quality control by self-reviewing all work before submission Collaborate closely with the Miami-based team during overlapping working hours Organize and label research and project documentation within the firm’s digital systems Qualifications Proven proficiency in SketchUp and Layout for 3D modeling and documentation (non-negotiable) Competency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Basic video editing skills are a plus, but not required – premier pro and after effects Ability to work independently with limited supervision and strong problem-solving skills Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precision in design execution Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are essential for effective remote teamwork Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related field preferred 2+ years of experience in architectural design or drafting, with emphasis on 3D modeling and presentation preparation preferred What We Offer Opportunity to work remotely with a Miami-based design team focused on meaningful projects Exposure to a broad spectrum of architectural projects, from residential to urban scale Collaborative and supportive company culture that encourages learning, creativity, and growth Competitive salary aligned with local market standards and candidate experience Flexible work hours with scheduled overlap for team collaboration Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Design, Art/Creative, and Information Technology Industries Architecture and Planning Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Future Vision Studios by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Architectural Designer” roles.
