Job Duties Gain and utilize expertise in specific aspects of a PSLs technology and services portfolio to educate Customers, Operations, and Business Development (BD) on features, advantages, and benefits of the PSL solutions. Under broad direction, the Technical Sales Advisor is responsible for Delivery Execution, pursuing excellence in all activities, identifying customer needs through product knowledge and geographic understanding of challenges. Assist the BD team in pursuing work through customer interactions and workshops, provide technical recommendations for proposals regarding solution upsell, and aid operations and BD in diagnosing and communicating delivery issues, utilizing detailed knowledge of subPSL products, services, and solutions. Help establish strategic direction by understanding local customer business drivers and technical challenges, and identify up-sell strategies within the geographic area. Maintain awareness of the external market and company marketing strategies by collaborating with PSL, Region/Country Business Development, Account, and Tech Teams to identify growth opportunities and market gaps. Contribute input to PSL technology project priorities based on market and customer needs. Execute tactical plans as set by the country management team. Possess thorough understanding of supported subPSL technology and broad understanding of development tools. Promote PSL’s quality directives and ensure operations comply with HSE and OE policies. Utilize project management skills and tracking tools for organizing and executing projects. Provide guidance to less experienced staff. This role impacts revenue and service quality through personal contributions and may have budgetary responsibilities. Required qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Engineering or related discipline and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the energy services industry, with at least 5 years as a field professional.
