Responsibilities Job Purpose: Deploys and configures systems specific to their expertise. Ensures the system (server, resources, storage, and/or application) is operational, healthy, and functioning as designed. Completes infrastructure requests promptly. Maintains and administers enterprise solutions supporting business needs. Primary duties include: Configuring, testing, and deploying mission-critical systems within their responsibility area. Providing top-tier escalation support for servers, storage, and applications maintained by the engineer. Deploying and configuring systems, ensuring they are operational and well-maintained. Installing, repairing, and supporting enterprise systems and applications. Providing advanced troubleshooting for server infrastructure, responding to escalated tickets outside level 1 and 2 support scope. Following up on escalated tickets with timely updates. Managing systems for multiple projects with varying schedules. Selecting methods and techniques for problem resolution. Collaborating with vendors and internal teams for troubleshooting. Ensuring compliance with warranty and regulatory requirements. Maintaining regular attendance and demonstrating a strong work ethic. Qualifications Requirements: At least 5 years of experience managing Windows Server systems. At least 5 years of systems administration or design experience. Minimum 2 years of VMWare vCenter management experience. Minimum 2 years of VxRail and Nutanix experience. Experience with Microsoft Azure deployments and services (preferred). Scripting skills: Python, Bash, PowerShell (preferred). Ability to handle multiple projects and work independently or in a team. Strong documentation skills. Understanding of VDI design and maintenance (preferred). Preferred Skills: Knowledge of backup technologies and methodologies. Experience with NAS/SAN technologies. VMWare, Citrix XenApp, virtualization experience. Knowledge of NetApp, Tintri, Pure Storage. Cisco UCS experience. VMWare/ESXi installation, configuration, upgrade, management. Knowledge of Cohesity and Commvault backup solutions. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
