Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Shared Services is a global, strategic leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and managing centralized shared services operations to optimize efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and enhance service delivery across the organization. This position oversees support for key functional areas across Operations ensuring seamless integration, standardization of processes, and alignment with the company’s overall goals. Reporting to the VP of Operational Excellence, this role will lead multiple teams of professionals, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and act as a key partner to senior leadership in delivering scalable, automated, high-quality services. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute the strategic vision for shared services, aligning with organizational objectives and industry best practices. - Identify, implement, and optimize shared services processes, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high service quality. - Lead a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate service delivery, operational performance, and customer satisfaction. - Manage and develop team assuring KPI’s are measured and met. - Collaborate with department leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for centralization and process standardization. - Manage forecasting and resource allocation for shared services operations. - Drive the adoption of technology and automation tools to enhance service delivery and streamline workflows. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, adherence to Company policies and procedures and safeguarding of Company assets. - Serve as a change agent, leading transformation projects and managing stakeholder communication during transitions. - Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to executive leadership on shared services performance and initiatives. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred). - [5-7+] years of experience in global operations, shared services, or process improvement, with at least [3-5] years in a leadership role managing both teams and managers. - Proven track record of designing and managing shared services functions in a complex, multi-departmental organization. - Strong understanding of process optimization methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and experience with HRIS systems. - Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. - Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with EOR, payroll, HR, or related SaaS technologies. - Change management expertise, with a history of leading successful organizational transformations.
