Role Overview: This strategic sales position requires an in-depth knowledge of how technology is used to enable business goals. It requires strategic thinking coupled with tactical execution of identified business opportunities. You will be responsible for managing all facets of the relationship with key accounts while ensuring revenue goals are being met. Developing opportunities across the F5 solution portfolio while effectively selling solutions and services using technical and customer knowledge to influence and build relationships, while working closely with Systems Integrators, large Service Providers, and regional VARs. This is an individual contributor and quota-carrying role. What you will do: Primary point-of-contact for account(s) and maintains contact at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship. Sell the organization’s products or services to and maintain relationships with existing national named accounts. Responsible for rapidly growing and retaining named accounts. Identify and qualify long-term and short-term business opportunities and proactively address competitive threats. Prepare formal proposals and presentations, present to all organizational levels including executives, lead negotiations, coordinate decision-making processes, overcome objections, and close sales professionally. Manage key partner relationships and facilitate communication between the customer, F5, and its partners, including strategic and tactical issues. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, technical developments, and relevant regulations. Understand business needs and communicate how F5’s solutions address those needs. Develop market strategies and goals aligned with account objectives. Coordinate territory strategy and tactics with sales support teams. Ensure accurate sales forecasting, utilizing Salesforce effectively. Maintain detailed account profiles and organizational charts, reviewed quarterly. Develop strategies for sustained business success and coordinate resources accordingly. Partner with internal and external teams to develop technical solutions that expand F5’s footprint. What you will bring: 8+ years of enterprise sales experience. Strong negotiation, closing, and solution-selling skills. Excellent client interfacing and customer-focused approach. Experience selling in complex matrix environments. Effective use of internal relationships and resources. Ability to prioritize, develop, and lead pipelines and forecasts.
