And if that’s you we would love to have you join us! **Job Description**: **Responsibilities**: Strategic Business Skills/Technical Expertise: - Employ commercial and technical skills while tapping your creative side to maximize Rockwell profit and growth opportunities - Filter opportunities to pursue, as well as provide input to increasing successes through our Win Strategy process - Negotiate internally and externally leveraging a sound understanding of cost, value, and profit margin to establish pricing with approvals - Approve costs, pricing, margins, and other commercial terms within your delegation of authority - Convincingly articulate our value message and business models in many scenarios and situations, including through direct sales channels or through distributors. - Support proposals with customers while instilling confidence in the proposed solution - Follow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies, and procedures as appropriate for this position - Engage with sales and customers to follow up on proposals - Understand and manage project reviews including risk analysis Exceptional Collaboration and Management Skills: - Work in a cross-functional environment - both commercially and technically - and engage with other Proposal Consultants, Application Consultants, Sales/Distributors, Channel Partners, RA Business Units, Contracts and Negotiations and other key stakeholders as required - Be proficient in obtaining approvals in compliance with Rockwell policies including executive level (PARB) approvals - Coordinate and manage legal terms and conditions as needed to support proposal delivery terms, which includes interfacing with the C&N; legal and contracts team, third-party, and customers, as needed - Maintain proposal and other tools on a regular basis as opportunities evolve to support automation of important activities (e.g., forecasting) and facilitate timely opportunity management without the need to ensure data quality while being available at any time - Actively seek out and participate in continuous improvement through feedback and training opportunities that will address identified gaps and further strengthen required skills Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or similar - Ability to travel to USA up to 10% to customer sites for proposal-related duties - Fluent in English - 5+ years related experience in an industrial environment (engineering, projects, maintenance, support) - Knowledge of Rockwell Automation Medium Voltage VFDs - Experience working with third-party suppliers to provide additional products/services - Two years’ experience in a customer-facing role, either engineering and executing projects or in a sales role - Excellent negotiation skills - Able to work in a cross-functional, matrixed organization team - Demonstrated technical communication and documentation skills to clearly develop proposals, convey project status updates, design information, technical issues/resolutions, and complete project milestone reviews - Fluent in English
