Our client is in need of a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to lead the development of secure, automated software delivery processes and modern cloud-based systems. This role focuses on building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, implementing security best practices throughout the software lifecycle, and enabling agile teams with the tools and infrastructure needed for efficient, scalable operations. The engineer will work closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and end users to deliver solutions that strengthen system security, support mission-critical objectives, and advance infrastructure modernization. This role requires an active TS/SCI with FS Poly. **Responsibilities**: - Design and oversee secure, fully automated software delivery pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. - Build and manage container-based solutions and service architectures leveraging modern orchestration platforms. - Implement and fine-tune cloud environments to ensure resilience, cost efficiency, and high availability. - Embed security measures and continuous testing throughout the software lifecycle. - Partner with developers to troubleshoot and optimize build, integration, and release workflows. - Promote DevSecOps principles across the organization, guiding teams toward best practices and collaborative success. **Qualifications** - Degree in computer science, engineering, or another technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience. - Extensive background—five years or more—in creating and supporting secure automation pipelines and cloud-based systems. - Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages, such as Python or Go. - Practical expertise with container platforms and orchestration frameworks. - Proven ability to build, deploy, and manage solutions within major cloud providers, particularly AWS. - Knowledge of strategies for optimizing cloud resource usage and controlling operational costs. - Solid experience working with modern CI/CD platforms and version control workflows. - Familiarity with tools that support Kubernetes environments, including deployment managers, monitoring systems, and configuration utilities. - Hands-on use of search and analytics platforms in production-grade systems. - Track record of automating workflows across varied technology ecosystems. - Skilled in diagnosing and resolving challenges in both hybrid and public cloud infrastructures. - Experience guiding large-scale DevSecOps adoption within complex organizations. - Professional certifications in relevant domains such as cloud operations, Kubernetes administration, or DevOps engineering. “We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.”
