You will work with passionate, goal-oriented Data engineers and QA engineers to solve complex problems. You will collaborate with Data Management, Operations, and Delivery teams to provide marketing focused data solutions to our customers. You will provide hands on technical leadership, guiding, coaching, and mentoring global team members, leading major projects, assigning technical workloads, and ensuring we continuously improve and deliver high quality solutions that drive incremental business value for our customers. You will lead and grow a team that embraces change, solves problems, continuously improves, and is passionate about innovation. **Qualifications**: **Key Responsibilities**: - Able to analyze, standardize, classify, organize, and manage data from different sources, following a structured data management process and industry standards and best practices - Collaborates with Product Management and cross organizational leaders to produce and maintain a directional roadmap and manage priorities in alignment with business needs - Evaluates, determines, obtains approval, and manages to a budget, including infrastructure, software, and cloud-based costs - Provides hands on daily coaching and mentoring to team members as they develop: strategies, plans, designs, code, scripts, SQL, etc., ensuring standards and best practices are followed - Able to review strategies, plans, designs, code, etc. and analyze data results with a high attention to detail to ensure we deliver high quality solutions - Continuously assess, recommend, and implement improvements, driving innovation, evaluating new approaches, industry standards, design patterns, new tooling, etc. - Able to grow and lead a motivated, high performing team that produces high quality solutions, meeting goals, and delivers results on time - Collaborates with IT to create and maintain environments for Development and QA - Provides strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting expertise and guidance **Experience Required**: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or other equivalent experience - 8+ years’ experience in leading teams - 8+ years’ or equivalent experience in developing and implementing production grade big data pipeline solutions or systems - 5+ years’ experience with SQL, relational databases, and data warehouses - 3+ years’ experience with Python - 3+ years’ experience in cloud base technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) - 3+ years’ experience working in Agile teams - 2+ years’ experience with Snowflake - Experience with Bash, Korn shell or similar scripting - Experience with Linux; experience with Windows is desired - Experience with Jenkins, Airflow, or other orchestration tools - Experience with code repositories such as Git, Bitbucket, Github, etc. - Some experience in Tableau is a plus **Skills**: - Strong leader who motivates and inspires while instilling accountability and delivering results - Able to collaborate across organizations with all levels of leadership to develop plans, strategies, and establish priorities - Able to communicate complex topics with ease and simplicity such that agreement or approval is obtained - Able to perform under pressure and optimize team to attain a business goal or meet a need - Able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, leading each to successful delivery **Additional Information**: LI-CR1 **About dentsu** We are champions for meaningful progress and we strive to be a force for good—for our people, for our clients, for the industry and for our society.
