Finance Data Analyst | S3 | CFO | Milton Keynes Milton Keynes, United Kingdom **WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING** **Join our community.** As a Finance Data Analyst you will help shape and support CFO Data Infrastructure in line with the Data Strategy of the bank. You will be responsible for data analysis, reconciliation and remediation developing the strategic finance data infrastructure, supporting the CFO data projects facilitating regulatory reporting and returns. This is a great opportunity to work on high profile data projects of the bank. You will work with new data integration tools, towards the bank’s strategic platforms and with wide ranging stakeholder / business engagement. That’s why we’ve built a culture of respect, where everyone is empowered to keep their promises and go above-and-beyond for our customers, colleagues and the communities we serve. **The difference you’ll make.** - Contribute towards CFO’s data strategy of ensuring key data items are defined, ensuring controls are in place and taking opportunities to improve the quality of data. - Performing reconciliations and validations to maintain data integrity and provide outputs to facilitate decision making. - Supporting data related projects acting as an SME on Risk and Finance data to ensure accurate and consistency of data provisioning, while ensuring downstream users’ requirements are met. - Dealing with ad-hoc requests and responding to queries from external regulators, CFO teams, IT Projects team, Risk, Internal and External Audit. **What you’ll bring.** - Expert in using SAS EG including writing SQL, macros and indexes. - Experience within a pressured environment, working to tight deadlines and ensuring deliverables of a high standard **It would also be nice for you to have.** - Excellent communication skills, able to articulate key messages and analysis outcomes clearly and concisely to senior management on a regular basis. - Great problem-solving skills and significant experience working on data management and development related projects. - Experience carrying out regulatory reporting is desirable, as is accountancy experience or qualifications. - Highly organised, with the ability to plan and manage workload. **What else you need to know.** The role is a 12-month secondment / Fixed Term contract.
