If you think you'll enjoy challenging projects, learning new things and achieving best results, this may be the next step in your career!** **What the day will look like** - You will carry out complex funding and accounting actuarial valuations, coordinating responsibilities with the Retirement Solution Line in North America (USA and Canada) and meeting defined deadlines - You will be in compliance with and drive usage of processes, templates, precedents, and compliance guidelines as a competent checker - You will demonstrate a good understanding of actuarial valuation principles - You will maintain and build learning resources for the team, such as best practices or training materials for particular types of work - You will focus on quality and efficiency - You will be able to clearly communicate both with junior analysts and with global experts **Skills that will lead to success** - Industry knowledge and good work experience (employee benefits and retirement programs preferred) - Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment by being respectful and encouraging others, presenting openly and constructively and being an active listener - Excellent project management skills demonstrated by ability to handle multiple valuation projects independently - Proactively help less experienced colleagues with technical valuation knowledge and review of their work - Act as a role-model for junior Analysts, coach new analysts on professional conduct and good work ethics and provide constructive feedback - Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) - Pensions domain experience will be an advantage - Advanced English **Education** Educated to University degree level, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, or Actuarial Science. Proficient English is required.
