Overview We are seeking a "First among equals" engineer tolead squad engineers in designing, developing, configuring,maintaining, and testing computer software. The ideal candidatewill translate business needs into working code, focusing primarilyon Fullstack Web development (ReactJS, NextJS) with some Salesforce(SFDC/SFMC) tasks. We welcome candidates who may not have extensive Salesforce experience but are eager to learn. Responsibilities 1. Leadership in Development: Lead squad engineers to build andmaintain software by translating user stories from the backlog intoworking code using modern design patterns and architecturalprinciples. 2. Problem Solving: Assist squad members in overcomingtechnical challenges and guide them in implementing solutionsaligned with the squad's technology strategy. 3. Code QualityAccountability: Ensure that code produced by squad members is ofhigh quality, well documented, efficient, maintainable, and adheresto established standards. 4. Testing and Deployment: Drive thetesting and deployment of software solutions, ensuring sufficientautomated testing to maintain solution quality. 5. Mentorship &Coaching;: Mentor and coach squad technical team members on bestpractices and principles through activities like code reviews. 6. Operational Efficiency: Enhance operational efficiency byleveraging the SDLC Toolchain and contributing automation tools andscripts, such as CI/CD automation. 7. Technical VisionCommunication: Define and communicate a shared technical andarchitectural vision to ensure solutions meet intended purposes. 8. Cross-Squad Collaboration: Collaborate with other LeadEngineers/squads to manage risks and track cross-squad dependenciesand impediments. 9. Support Product Owner: Assist the Product Ownerin defining user stories and acceptance criteria, and provide inputon resource allocation to address critical bottlenecks. 10. Technical Debt Management: Manage technical debt, includingconducting vulnerability scans. 11. Release Process Management:Oversee the movement of code through environments and intoproduction. 12. User Story Development: Contribute to developinguser stories during sprints when needed. Requirements 1. TechnologyStack: Proficient in Fullstack Web technologies (ReactJS, NextJS)and familiar with Salesforce (SFDC/SFMC). Willingness to learnadditional technologies is a plus. 2. Experience: Background in Data Engineering & Analytics, Cybersecurity, Cloud Dev &Security;, and Software Development. 3. Management: Ability tomanage technical priorities within the backlog and possessfunctional knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, test automation, solutionarchitecture, API architecture, and systems integration.
