IT Manager Job Purpose The CI&T IT Manager is a key member of our Global IT department, responsible for helping end-users resolve technical problems promptly and accurately. We seek a highly qualified IT Manager to lead our IT team, develop and implement IT strategies aligned with business objectives, and manage projects and resources. This role requires close communication with the Global IT Squad Leader and strict adherence to headquarters' processes and procedures. Responsibilities The goal is to ensure the efficient and secure operation of technology systems, support internal clients, align global IT strategies with local realities, and meet organizational objectives. Leadership: Lead and motivate IT professionals, develop and manage budgets, stay updated on technological trends, and contribute to AI strategy implementation to optimize processes and promote an organizational culture aligned with the /Flow strategy. On-site Tech Support: Establish best practices based on headquarters standards, train team members, and ensure high-quality tech support for hardware, software, and network issues. Process Documentation: Own and update local IT processes, create user guides, and technical manuals to ensure clear communication and operational consistency. Communication & Issue Resolution: Effectively communicate technical information, prioritize issues, escalate when necessary, and serve as the primary contact for complex problems. Incident & Stakeholder Management: Lead responses to critical incidents, coordinate efforts, communicate updates, and analyze trends for process improvements. Compliance & Security: Ensure regulatory compliance, manage risks, and oversee cybersecurity protocols to protect data and assets. Budget & Vendor Management: Prepare budgets, evaluate vendors, and ensure effective procurement and service delivery. User Training & Collaboration: Provide training, understand IT needs across departments, and collaborate with business and operational teams. Inventory & Innovation: Manage IT inventory, monitor technology trends, and propose innovative solutions. Additional Responsibilities: Promote a culture of innovation, develop problem-solving checklists, generate reports for senior management, and facilitate staff development. Knowledge and Experience Minimum of 5 years in IT management or related roles, with proven leadership and project management skills. Experience in technical support, user training, and vendor management. Strong knowledge of Windows 10 & 11, Linux Ubuntu, Mac OS, Google Workspace, Jira Service Management, Office 365, Adobe, Slack, Zoom, Patch management, RMM, UEM, and MDM tools. Ability to work independently and communicate fluently in English. Education Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field required; Master’s degree or certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, ITIL) are a plus.
