Role Summary: Leader of a Team of Distribution Representatives across a sub-region. Responsible for the sales activities of individuals within the sub-region. Provide sales support for the assigned product and services portfolio. Accountable for sales strategies, account planning, forecasting, and bookings growth related to Flowserve products and services within the sub-region. The preferred location for this individual is near Minneapolis to best support the territory and our distributors in Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota. Responsibilities: Translate Flowserve vision into actionable strategies with clear objectives and deliverables for your organization. Develop working relationships throughout the partner organization based on trust. Act as a liaison between distributors and Flowserve sales management to coordinate coverage, channel decisions, and FLS strategies. Ensure partners are executing their responsibilities in the assigned territory for products, programs, and relationships through ongoing evaluation and performance assessment utilizing the Distributor Sales Plan process, and develop strategies to meet growth goals. Collaborate with Business Development Managers on strategies, opportunities, and product development or acquisition ideas. Ensure teams interact constructively and collaboratively to maximize revenue opportunities and deliver value to distributors and end-users. Maintain up-to-date quotation management systems and provide timely forecast estimates. Identify key opportunities and risks related to forecasts. Develop leadership talent through ongoing training and education, and retain high-performing associates. Execute team mission effectively by holding all associates accountable. Use key metrics to monitor performance and drive execution. Develop sales plans and goals supported by accurate market demand forecasts and opportunities. Focus on internal and external customers to ensure responsiveness, reliability, and helpfulness. Lead by example to foster a cohesive, positive team environment. Communicate effectively to advance team and business goals, strengthening relationships and sharing knowledge across units and cultures. Analyze and communicate market trends, conditions, and activities via weekly reports. Act as the distributor's advocate within the organization. Manage expenses responsibly and professionally. Support key financial objectives, including AR targets, inventory, OTP, expenses, and operational excellence. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and legal requirements (e.g., SOX, export compliance, safety, terms and conditions, sales approval processes, sales order drafts). Qualifications/Requirements: 5+ years of industry experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in distribution sales and sales management. Experience with distributor channel development and sales preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Working knowledge of pump and seal fundamentals, hydraulics, and rotating equipment. Proven experience in relationship and customer management in a sales environment. Strong presentation skills for diverse groups. Preferred Experience/Characteristics: Distribution experience preferred. Advanced English language skills.
