Mid-level Professional **A Snapshot of Your Day** To perform complex and technically demanding work on-site in a specialized area of Field Service for rotating equipment such us: Centrifugal compressors, Gas Turbines or Steam Turbines, as required for the different service customer contracts. The key responsibilities are to ensure that the mechanical works could be handled with the higher quality and professionalism according to the Siemens Energy vision and customer expectations on a day-to-day basis. The role will require you to work such reasonable hours. You can be located preferable in Bogotá, Colombia. **How You’ll Make an Impact** - This position is responsible for performing various facets involving the installation, commissioning, and servicing the company’s nameplate rotating equipment units, such us: turbo compressor, gas turbines or Steam turbines. The position is the primary source of technical information and services at our customer sites. The FSR serves as the link between our customers and the rest of the company including but not limited to management, sales, and technical support. Our FSR’s maintain the highest level of professionalism and premier service attitude. - Maintain the highest level of a zero-harm culture by following and enforcing all company and customer EHS policies and programs. Interact with different levels of customer and Siemens Energy organizations to report progress, resolve issues, and identify potential services to be offered based on customer needs. - Perform complex troubleshooting as required on machinery and ancillary systems. Coordinate with engineering in reporting and implementing changes as necessary to resolve issues. Maintain accurate backup copies of all system software. - Communicate progress, schedules, and open items with client. Prepare detailed technical reports. - Coordinate and advice teams of field service engineers, technicians and craft labor personnel in the installation, repair maintenance, and troubleshooting of combustion turbines, steam turbines and generators at various customer sites. - Compile Technical and Safety Documentation for planned and un-planned maintenance. - Responsible to comply and/or enforce the protocols, policies guidelines, and competencies of the current integral management system (EHS, Quality). - Identify sales opportunities to increase company revenue. **What You Bring** - University Degree in Mechanical Engineer or similar (Bachelor’s degree). Electrical, Chemical, Civil. - A (4) years engineering degree or a minimum of 5-7 years of direct related overhauling/ major maintenance experience - Basic understanding of instrumentation and control systems, PLC’s, and ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. - Technical knowledge on rotating equipment: centrifugal compressors; combustion turbines, steam turbines and associated auxiliary systems. - Competences: Good verbal communication skills with the ability, work under pressure, high customer orientation and solution orientation. - English at professional working proficiency level. - Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of time (sometimes at little or short notice) **About the Team** **Who is Siemens Energy?** At Siemens Energy, we are more than just an energy technology company.
