LATAM OccupationalHealth, Safety, and Environment (OHSE) Lead Design, implement, andmonitor the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment ManagementSystem (SG-SST) to ensure compliance with current legislation whileprotecting the safety and well-being of LatAm employees. This roleplays a key part in integrating occupational health and safety intothe company’s broader EHS strategy and is a formal member of theEHS Committee, actively contributing to decision-making andcontinuous improvement initiatives. 1. Health & SafetyCompliance - Design, implement, and monitor the OccupationalHealth, Safety, and Environment Management System (SG-SST),ensuring compliance with local legislation, company policies andindustry standards. - Lead health and safety audits as requiredwithin the framework of the SG-SST, managing corrective andpreventive actions from these. - Ensure compliance withclient-specific safety regulations, standards and requirements. -Keep regional procedures and documents related to health, safety,and environment up to date, ensuring compliance with currentregulations. - Report on SST activities to internal teams, clients,and auditors, ensuring transparency and compliance with establishedregulations. - Monitor and analyze indicators from the IntegratedManagement System, in order to evaluate performance and adjuststrategies to meet safety and occupational health goals andobjectives. - Ensure alignment and integration of all occupationalhealth, safety, and environmental activities within the company’sbroader EHS strategy. - Act as a formal member of the EHSCommittee, contributing to corporate safety initiatives, policyupdates, and strategic planning. - Establish and leadepidemiological surveillance programs to monitor employee healthand well-being. - Investigate and analyze accidents, incidents, andoccupational diseases, implementing corrective and preventivemeasures. - Develop and implement safety plans, protocols, and riskmitigation strategies. - Conduct regular training sessions foremployees and contractors on SG-SST policies, procedures, and bestpractices. 3. Coordination & Field Oversight - Managepreventive and corrective actions derived from risk assessments andsafety inspections. - Ensure field operations align with nationalregulations and project-specific contractual commitments. -Supervise service providers defined within the SG-SST (e.g., ARL,advisors, site contractors) to ensure compliance with occupationalsafety requirements. - Ensure compliance of SST activities managedby service providers such as ARL, advisors, site supportcontractors and other services defined within the SG-SST. -Coordinate and supervise work-at-height activities, ensuring thatestablished safety regulations and protocols are followed. -Oversee the preparation and management of SST documentation forfield activities, in coordination with PM and customers, ensuringcompliance and readiness before works commence. - Act as thedesignated SST representative on-site, supervising activities andensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards asrequired meeting contractual guidelines. Requirements •Professional degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety,and Environment Administration, or Technologist in OccupationalHealth and Safety. • Valid professional certification. • SSTLicense. • Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating SG-SSTprocesses. • At least 3 years of experience supervising fieldactivities in high-voltage electrical substations. • At least 1year of experience in implementing SG-SST systems. • Validcertification in Safe Work at Heights Coordination. • 50-hour SSTcourse and/or 20-hour SGSST retraining course. • In-depth knowledgeof SST regulations, legislation, and legal requirements inColombia. • Strong skills in proactivity, responsiveness,interpersonal relationships, reliability, organization,collaboration, responsibility, leadership, and professionalism. •Basic level of English. • Good spelling. • Intermediate Excelproficiency. • Availability to travel as needed (approximately 40%of the month). - Employees based in Medellín are required to workfrom the office for a minimum of 2 days per week. • Location:Bogotá, Medellín, Santa Marta or Barranquilla. • Travel expenses:Covered by the company.
