Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for an Operations Engineer to join their dynamic team. Position Responsibilities: Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Python and PowerShell to streamline operational processes and reduce manual interventions. API Integration: Integrate various systems and applications through APIs to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability across the organization’s technology stack. Workflow Automation: Create and manage automation workflows that enhance the efficiency and reliability of business operations, leveraging tools such as Azure Automation or similar platforms. Microsoft Entra/AD Management: Develop automated solutions for managing Microsoft Entra and Active Directory environments, including user provisioning, access management, and security compliance. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor automated processes to ensure they are running smoothly and address any issues or failures promptly to maintain operational continuity. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, network infrastructure, and business units, to identify automation opportunities and implement effective solutions. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all automation scripts, workflows, and integration processes to ensure clarity and facilitate maintenance. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest automation technologies and best practices, continuously seeking ways to enhance and optimize existing automation solutions. Support and Troubleshooting: Provide support for automated systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements based on user feedback and evolving business needs. Security and Compliance: Ensure all automation solutions adhere to security standards and comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Experience: 3+ years of experience in automation development, scripting, or a related field. Proven experience with Python scripting as the primary programming language. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting as a secondary skill. Hands-on experience with API integration and working with RESTful APIs. Experience in creating and managing automation workflows using tools like Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps, or similar platforms. Familiarity with Microsoft Entra and Active Directory management and automation. Strong understanding of automation frameworks and best practices. Knowledge of network protocols, security practices, and infrastructure technologies. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Ability to work with cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure) and understand hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with configuration management tools and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices. Experience with DevOps practices and tools. Understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management best practices. Ability to adapt to new technologies and continuously develop technical skills. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, Python Institute certifications) are a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions. Familiarity with observability and ITSM software (e.g., ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Dynatrace). Experience managing third-party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and ensuring vendor performance through SLAs is desirable. Proven ability to implement robust security protocols and conduct regular security assessments. Experience ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
