We are waiting for you! Misión del puesto What does a Product Designer do? As a Product Designer at Rappi you will help create products with a good user experience. Being responsible for understanding what users want from their device and then designing it so they can find all of its features easily without any hassle.You will also make sure everything works properly when combined in one package. Roles and responsibilities Main Responsibilities- Create the user interface for an app, website, or other interactive media.- Collaborating with product managers and engineers and other designers to gather requirements from users and product team before designing ideas that can be communicated using storyboards and other analysis tookls.Key requirements Good communication skills are essential for a UI UX Designer. You need the ability to ask others what they think about designs or projects before even starting work on them. Use empathy to understand their users, develop solutions that solve their problems, and listen effectively. Fluid conversational and written communication in Spanish and English (desirable)- Very concise in your communication and agile in your actions.- Experience or strong interest in Fintech.- You love solving problems.- You have at least 3-5 years experience creating customer facing products in start-ups, digital factories or innovation teams inside corporations.- You are highly logical with technical background/ education.- You are a Product Designer / UX UI Designer- You have prior experience and track record of building successful (financial) business products using data, customer feedback, common sense. You have experience with product management or product design with a focus on software products and technologies.- You have experience handling complex projects with multiple dependencies and stakeholders.- You are willing to go the extra mile to create reusable components to be modified and applied to multiple projects.- You’ve read the “fintech law” and understand the importance of this for Mexico and other countries and the banking ecosystem. Main Responsibilities- You will own the end-to-end flow of one or more products.- You will understand customer needs and gather product requirements.- You will take ownership of all aspects of the given product including logic, dependencies, constraints, user pains and every possible path that needs to be worked on along with designers, developers and product owners.- You will take full responsibility for a customer-facing product to earn their trust and fulfill their needs, even when they don’t know what they want.- You will become an expert in global best practices around your product and its substitutesAs a result, you and your team's work will make a difference to millions of mexicans.- You will need to work with technical challenges and make strategic recommendations, communicating directly with the product owners and designers.- Work cross-functional with our world-class engineering, business development, product and operations teams.
