The Professional Services Director servesas a partner to Anthology Field Operations in the identification,cultivation, and closure of strategic opportunities. Thisindividual will represent Anthology Services – specifically fromthe vantage point of Services Delivery – in ensuring that its valueproposition, resource experience, implementation approach, andmethodology are articulated in a responsive, timely, andintelligible way, during the sales cycle. Critically, the Directorwill also provide continuity and drive knowledge-transfer, asinstitutions move from prospect to customer, and are handed off toProfessional Services Delivery and Customer Experience teams forimplementation. Primary responsibilities will include: - Serving asthe liaison between Field Operations and the PMO/Delivery Practices - Understanding the needs and expectations of targeted highereducation institutions - Forecasting and mitigating prospectconcerns related to project implementation and governance -Responding promptly to prospect needs and communicating withconfidence and passion using domain and implementation expertise -Collaborating effectively with the Anthology proposal team toproduce high quality RFP responses - Participating in thepreparation and delivery of demos, presentations, and contractnegotiations - Establishing and maintaining reference lists acrossregions, solution areas, and other criteria as defined -Participating in recurring regional sales team meetings -Participating in conferences and webinars, as needed -Participating in project onboarding and kickoff activities, asneeded - Assisting in professional services’ capacity planning andresource assignment through the development of a demand model,based on sales pipeline - Reaching back to closed deals to ensurealignment of the customer implementation experience to commitmentsexpressed during the sales process - Engaging in the continuousimprovement of project onboarding and delivery - Staying apprisedof industry trends and competitor win-strategies in the area ofproject delivery - Collaborating, developing, and executing agrowth strategy for Education, Managed, Professional and StudentSuccess services in conjunction with the Business Development team - Managing assigned resources (e.g. Solutions & DeliveryManager) The Candidate: Required skills/qualifications: -Bachelor’s degree - At least 12 years of overall experience - 3 ormore years of senior-level Professional Services experience -Higher Education tech implementation experience in LMS, SIS, and/orCRM solutions - Understanding of the Higher Education landscaperespective to institutional type, organizational structure, anddepartmental responsibilities - Great oral and writtencommunication skills - Strong presentation skills - Must be open totravel when necessary - Highly organized with exceptional eye fordetail - Strong documentation skills to facilitate knowledgetransfer - Takes a strategic approach to work - Self-motivated andself-directed - Ability to maintain a positive outlook in the faceof deadlines and adversity - Natural storyteller and passion forpresenting solutions to solve problems - Able to make effectivepresentations - Able to articulate and logically communicateprocess steps - Able to prioritize work and strong projectmanagement skills - Able to meet deadlines, follow up oncommitments, and act as needed - Team player with ability todevelop and maintain internal and external professionalrelationships - Fluency in written and spoken English at CEF B2level or above Preferred skills/qualifications: - Prior experiencewith Anthology’s implementation methodology and customer lifecycle - Familiarity with Higher Education software from Canvas, D2L,Ellucian, Jenzabar, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics - Microsoftskill set - D365, Azure knowledge - Multilingual skills (Portuguesepreferred) This job description is not designed to contain acomprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilitiesthat are required.
