Investment Analyst Job Description About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Investment Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of current investments, as well as conducting due diligence on potential new investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance and accounting principles, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will also be able to communicate complex financial information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This is a part-time, remote position based in Bogota, Colombia, with a 6-month commitment. The weekly time commitment is 32 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: - Portfolio Management: Support the Investment Associate/Manager in monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of current investees. - Due Diligence: Conduct due diligence processes of potential investments to assess prospects' financial and social performance. - Interest Rate/Borrower Cost Analysis: Assess the total cost of the loan product offered by field partners in comparison with the local and regional markets. - Social Impact Assessment: Help determine the social impact of the investments according to the impact metrics defined by Kiva. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business. - At least 1 year of experience in Impact Investing, Investment Management, Finance, Corporate Lending, or Management Consulting. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google Suite office software. - Spanish fluency and B2 level of English required. - High level of independence, attention to detail, and proactivity.
