Project Coordinator Job Description We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, storing, and distributing project deliverables in an organized manner. Key Responsibilities: 1. Collaborate with key stakeholders to complete projects efficiently and accurately. 2. Liaise with local, worldwide, internal, and external stakeholders to gather information and prepare reports and/or briefs. 3. Ensure that specifications documents are prepared consistently for each project or change request. 4. Ongoing tracking of project and change progress. 5. Prepare project management reports and meeting minutes. 6. Manage all project documentation (specifications and communications). 7. Update project status and notes in project management tool. 8. Work collaboratively with all necessary internal/external parties to assist in the scope, review, and development of accurate estimates, recommend revisions to the final design. 9. Proactively identify and communicate actions, risks, and issues, and provide accurate, professional responses to local subsidiary or related worldwide teams. Preferred Qualifications: - Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Ability to grasp technical concepts. - Familiarity with PDF and Snagit; - Must be comfortable with communication tools such as Skype, Zoom, BT Conferencing, and others. - Results oriented and able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment. - Excellent organizational skills, good problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities, good decision making, and strong analytical skills. - Self-motivated, able to work in a team and independently. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work well with cross-functional teams globally. Education and Experience: - Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience. - Experience in Freight Forwarding - Accounting, operational or job costing, preferred. - Experience in either Cargowise, JDE, Concur or COGNOS, preferred. - Experience interpreting and drafting technical and training documentation, desired. - Experience in project coordination or management, desired. - Experience designing and validating reports, desired. - Accounting or Project Management Certification: CIA, CFA, CPA, CMA, PMP, a plus. Environment: - 100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions.
