With manufacturing facilities in Asia, a growing portfolio of U.S. wholesale accounts, and a rapidly expanding e-commerce presence, we require a seasoned logistics professional capable of transforming operational complexities into seamlessly executed processes. Why We Need You This role entails comprehensive oversight of the physical supply chain for diapers and packaging, from their origin at Asian manufacturing facilities to their placement within our 3PL warehouses, and subsequent distribution to retailers and e-commerce clientele. This encompasses inbound freight management, customs compliance, optimization of 3PL performance, and meticulous adherence to wholesaler routing guides. Key Responsibilities 3PL & Fulfillment Leadership (35%) - Manage daily interactions with U.S. and LATAM third-party logistics providers, including SLA adherence, quarterly business reviews, storage fee reconciliation, pick/pack accuracy, returns processing, and lot tracking for infant products. - Lead new node launches or transitions, ensuring zero operational downtime and seamless integration of WMS with Shopify/ERP systems. Freight & Carrier Management (25%) - Arrange and monitor ocean, air, and LTL/parcel shipments; negotiate rate cards, fuel surcharges, and accessorial fees. - Maintain an import calendar synchronized with production schedules and retail promotional windows. Import Compliance & Customs (20%) - Assume responsibility for ISF filings, HTS classification for diaper SKUs, duty optimization strategies, and mitigation of Section 301 exposure. - Coordinate factory documentation (Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin) and drayage operations from Asian ports to U.S. distribution centers. Wholesale / Retail Operations (15%) - Manage Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) flows and routing guides for major retail partners (e.g., Target, Walmart), preventing "On-Time, In-Full" (OTIF) chargebacks. - Collaborate with key account managers to ensure adherence to delivery windows and product launch dates. Inventory Visibility & Support (5%) - Furnish daily inbound Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) and on-hand inventory reports to the Demand Planner; identify and flag stockouts, aging inventory lots, and storage constraints. - Provide landed-cost and freight accrual data to the Finance department for precise margin reporting of diaper SKUs. Requirements Must-Have Qualifications - Five (5) or more years of experience managing 3PLs, inbound ocean/air freight, and retail compliance within a consumer goods brand (Consumer Packaged Goods or personal care experience is preferred). - Demonstrated hands-on experience with Asian imports, including FOB/EXW negotiation, drayage, customs brokerage, and HTS codes. - Proven track record of reducing freight expenditures and chargebacks, with quantifiable impact. - Familiarity with baby product regulations (e.g., CPSC, labeling requirements, lot/expiry tracking). - Proficiency with relevant tools, including but not limited to Flexport/Freightos/Cargowise or similar Transportation Management Systems (TMS), SPS Commerce or Retail Link EDI, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and advanced Excel/Google Sheets. - Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; comfortable operating across time zones and proactively escalating issues.
