Job Description The Department of Neurology at the University of Missouri - Columbia is seeking a full-time, tenure-track faculty member at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor to join our neuroscience research group. Focus areas include, but are not limited to, neurocritical care and vascular/interventional neurology. The role also involves participation in basic science training for medical students and residents. About MU Neurology: MU Department of Neurology provides comprehensive care in epilepsy, sleep disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, cerebrovascular disease, neurological intensive care, and headache. We also have subspecialties including pediatric neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuropathology, neuro-rehab, and multiple sclerosis. Our strong collaborations include Neurosurgery and PM&R, with facilities such as a 28-bed Neurosciences Center, 30-bed Neurosciences ICU, accredited sleep programs, and specialized clinics. We offer a neurology residency and six accredited fellowship programs, including Clinical Neurophysiology, Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology, Sleep Medicine, Vascular Neurology, and Neuro Critical Care. Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include BC/BE MD/DO or MD/Ph.D., or Ph.D. researcher. Candidates should have post-doctoral research experience and demonstrate an outstanding research program capable of training students and fellows.
