Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning UnifyCX is seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning to develop our next-generation omnichannel CX delivery and process automation platform, Lightbird. What Will You Do? As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning, you will design and optimize domain-aware models for language and audio tasks, utilizing classical ML and deep learning techniques. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies for training data quality and model evaluation. Your responsibilities include building ML pipelines, conducting analytics, creating dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights, and supporting proof-of-concept experiments. Additionally, you will maintain thorough documentation and promote best practices for reproducible research and version control. Who Are You? Required Qualifications Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related field. At least 3 years of experience building practical machine learning models for industry use cases in language, audio, image, or time series tasks. Advanced proficiency in Python. Familiarity with SQL or similar querying languages, and data visualization/dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Knowledge of deep learning architectures (Transformers, RNNs) and classical techniques (boosting, bagging). Preferred Qualifications PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related fields. Knowledge of privacy-preserving ML techniques, bias detection, content filtering, and safety guardrails for AI deployment in regulated industries. Contributions to open-source AI projects or notable academic publications.
