Your mission The Technical Pre-salesEngineer will work closely with the Data Centre Sales & ChannelManager to ensure revenue targets are met. This role bridges thegap between technical expertise and sales execution, ensuring ourcustomers and prospective customers receive the most appropriatesolutions tailored to their business needs. The ideal candidatewill have a strong background in data centre technologies,networking, and cloud solutions, with the ability to articulatetechnical concepts to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders. Frequent travel might berequired for industry events,sales meetings, etc. What you'll do - Collaborate with the salesteam to understand customer requirements and propose data centresolutions that align with their needs. - Provide technicalexpertise and consultation on data centre services, includingcolocation, cloud computing, networking, security, and managedservices. - Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations,demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs) to prospectiveclients. - Assist in the preparation of RFPs, RFQs, and technicaldocumentation to support sales opportunities. - Act as a trustedadvisor, building strong relationships with clients andunderstanding their evolving infrastructure challenges. - Stayupdated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitivelandscape to effectively position our solutions. - Work closelywith internal teams, including engineering, product management, andoperations, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions. - Supportpost-sales engagements by coordinating with implementation teams toensure a smooth transition from sales to deployment. What you'llbring - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering,Information Technology, or a related field. - 3+ years ofexperience in a technical sales, pre-sales, or sales engineeringrole, preferably within the data centre or cloud services industry. - Strong knowledge of data centre infrastructure, networking,virtualization, storage, and cloud computing solutions (AWS, Azure,Google Cloud, etc.). - Experience with colocation, connectivitysolutions, and hybrid IT environments. - Excellent presentation,communication, and customer-facing skills. - Ability to translatecomplex technical concepts into business value propositions. -Proficiency in creating solution architecture diagrams, proposals,and technical documentation. - Strong problem-solving skills andability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. -Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, AWS Certified SolutionsArchitect, or equivalent are a plus. - Proficiency in English isessential.
