Position Purpose The Procurement Manager is responsible for the strategic sourcing and procurement of goods and services. They oversee and manage contracts throughout their lifecycle, develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing and Procurement: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings. Supplier Relationship Management: Resolve supplier disputes and negotiate settlements. Contract Management: Develop and manage contracts and agreements with suppliers. Ensure contracts accurately reflect the agreements reached. Work with legal counsel to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. Monitor contract performance and identify risks. Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws, and regulations. Identify and mitigate procurement and contract risks. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare procurement reports and analysis. Track and monitor KPIs. Recommend process improvements. Use procurement software to track purchases and generate reports. Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of procurement best practices and industry standards. Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of procurement experience, including full contract lifecycle management. Reporting Relationship This role does not have direct reports but requires the ability to collaborate effectively with all internal team members.
