OT Expert Analyst - Cartagena Date: Mar 8, 2025 City:Sant Just Desvern Country: Spain (ES) Requisition Number: 38518About the role... An OT Expert Analyst works closely with localsite automation engineers, regional automation working groups, andintegrators to leverage technology use, improve automationcommunication networks, virtualization, cybersecurity, andindustrial connectivity in general. They are responsible forplanning, implementing, and monitoring such technology within aregional scope. Main Accountabilities 1. Define and maintain OTnetwork and security architecture, ensuring segregation between ITand OT networks in alignment with global OT security policies. 2.Collaborate with IT and regional automation teams to implement OTglobal network and cybersecurity standards. 3. Execute networkconfigurations, firewall rule implementations, and securityhardening measures for OT environments. 4. Actively participate inregional automation working groups, contributing to best practicesfor wired and wireless network strategies, virtualization, andfirewall deployments. 5. Manage and maintain OT servers networklayer, ensuring high availability, security, and compliance withoperational requirements. 6. Oversee OT system remote accesssolutions to ensure secure and reliable connectivity. 7. Supportnetwork virtualization management and monitoring, leveraging VMwareand other virtualization platforms. 8. Conduct assessments to mapgaps, evaluate risks, and define roadmaps for OT network securityimprovements. 9. Lead the implementation of maintenance, upgrades,and new network security projects in collaboration with operationalunits. 10. Ensure secure integration and data communication betweendifferent network layers, adhering to cybersecurity protocols. 11.Conduct vulnerability assessments on OT networks and implementnecessary security controls. 12. Identify quality issues and gapsin network security and provide mitigation plans. 13. Enable securedata communication between process historians for deeperoperational analysis. 14. Work with industrial communicationprotocols such as Profibus, OPC UA & DA, Profinet, Ethernet,and DeviceNet. 15. Prepare and present technical documents,reports, and network security evaluations. 16. Provide leadershipand technical guidance to local site automation engineers innetwork security best practices. Education/Experience: 1.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, ComputerEngineering, Information Technology, or Engineering required and/or+ 3 years of operational technology, IT/OT experience. 2. AdvancedEnglish (and local regional language if applicable). 3. Experienceworking in a multinational environment and collaborating acrossmultiple sites and regions.
