Job Description As a Senior Energy Engineer at Werpo Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' sustainability goals. Your primary responsibility will be to lead energy modeling initiatives, analyzing building performance and identifying areas for improvement. You will work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and clients to develop holistic energy efficiency strategies that drive business value and minimize environmental impact. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive whole-building energy modeling to inform design decisions and optimize energy performance. - Analyze energy efficiency measures and their impact on building operations and maintenance costs. - Develop Net Zero Energy/Carbon roadmaps for clients, ensuring they meet or exceed industry standards. - Support Green Building certification processes, leveraging expertise in LEED, WELL, LBC, and RESET. - Perform renewable energy analysis and evaluate the feasibility of various technologies. - Collaborate with clients to identify and secure incentives and rebates for energy-efficient projects. - Provide consultation services on beneficial electrification, life cycle cost analysis, and sustainability strategies. Requirements: To succeed in this role, you must possess: - A minimum of 5 years of experience in energy modeling and consulting, preferably in a similar setting. - Proficiency in design tools such as Revit and AutoCAD, as well as simulation and modeling software like IESVE, CA Title-24 code compliance tools, and other relevant platforms. - Familiarity with industry-standard codes, regulations, and best practices related to energy efficiency and sustainability. - LEED and WELL accreditation, with a strong understanding of their principles and application. - A mechanical engineering degree, preferably with experience working with HVAC systems.
