We're seeking exceptional talent to work on immersive client projects that will challenge and hone your skills - Advanced English language proficiency is required for the role. Essential Functions - Act as a key contributor to code development and review in a high-performance Agile team. - Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver robust, data-centric features. - Lead architectural decisions and ensure alignment across interfacing teams and systems. - Architect, deploy, and manage data solutions using tools like Apache Spark, Airflow, Databricks, among others AWS services. - Promote technologies and practices that increase team efficiency and reduce operational risk. - Support and evolve best practices for software development, data pipeline design, and operational stability. - Foster an environment of continuous improvement and high accountability. - Help define and execute the vision for the data team, including hiring and mentoring responsibilities. Technical Skills (Must-haves) - Proven experience in data‑engineering leadership, with hands‑on coding skills in Python. - Proficiency in big‑data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark and Kafka. - Deep understanding of data‑warehouse design and the trade‑offs between OLTP and OLAP architectures. - Strong expertise in SQL for complex analytical queries and performance tuning. - Experience with modern cloud analytics stacks: AWS (S3, Glue or Step Functions, Lambda, SQS) and Databricks (Delta Lake); managed Kubernetes services (EKS, AKS, or GKE) are a plus. - Deep knowledge of storage solutions and databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Delta Lake on Databricks. - Workflow orchestration with Apache Airflow (or a similar tool). - Solid experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines, implementing data governance, and ensuring data quality and integrity. - Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and microservices/event‑driven architectures. - Infrastructure‑as‑Code expertise using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation. - Experience developing user‑friendly dashboards, charts, reports, and data visualizations. Technical Skills (nice To Have) - Knowledge of Scala or Java for data processing tasks. - Prior experience with ClickHouse environments. - A significant plus if experienced in maintaining ML models in production or applying MLOps practices. Soft Skills - Proactive ownership mentality—willingness to take initiative and drive accountability. - An ability to communicate your insights verbally, visually and in writing. - A deep care about the quality of your data and the integrity of your work. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to analyze existing codebases and quickly understand technical and business logic. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical stakeholders. - Comfortable participating in architecture discussions and technical decision-making. - Collaborative and responsible team member with strong sense of ownership and accountability. - Ability to work in a fast-paced Agile environment and adapt to evolving requirements. - Adaptability and resilience when managing change, uncertainty, or shifting priorities.
